Kelly and Tony ~ part two
So... we had a great time in our downtown/OSU photo shoot but with a lake house at our disposal, how could we resist? I went to Kelly & Tony's house first so I could follow them to the lake. That's where I met this guy. Seriously... Could you have a bad day looking at this face?
Once we arrived at the lake, I was immediately drawn to the hammock. I won't lie. The idea of taking a little snooze in that very spot crossed my mind but instead... I put an attractive couple in it and clicked away. Good choice on my part, I think.
It turns out that this very spot was where the proposal occurred . They relived the moment for me. Don't you love it when a guy drops to one knee? Takes my breath away every time I see it happen. I'm a romantic sap. Can't help myself.

We were trying to work the cat tails but by the docks they weren't very good. I noticed that the house closest to the lake had really nice ones... Just as we were about to be rebellious and trespass... there are the homeowners. To say they wondered what we were up to would be an understatement. Then... they saw the camera and understood. They gave us their blessing to use whatever we wanted. God bless 'em! Nice people ROCK!
We played here. I'm still not entirely sure if it was a place to gas your boat, get pizza or both? Or maybe it was something else entirely but all I cared was that I loved the blue door. Blue... go figure... I seem to be attracted to that color.
It was kind of funny because this rather scruffy old sailor-y looking guy came out and was telling us not to take pictures there. I thought he was shooing us off his property but it turns out, he just didn't approve of my choice of locales. He thought I should be picking a more scenic place. Too funny! I guess what I see as attractive and a cool photo.... doesn't always jive with what other people think. Go figure! Oh well. I don't think I'm worried about what Popeye's cousin thinks. :) Had fun with Kelly and Tony and can't wait to photograph their big day next April!
