So... we only live 1/2 mile off Sawmill Road but we really live in the country. There are farm fields very close to us. And... with farm fields come...critters. Say "hi" to Fuzzy the groundhog.

How pretty and soft is this light?
Julia and Ari opted for a first look. I understand it's not for everyone but when it's done, it seems to allow the couple a private moment before the ceremony and can you beat reactions like Ari's?!
A little rain didn't dampen their fun.
Signing the ketubah. Julia is just beaming.
A beautiful synagogue.
The exit. LOTS of bubbles.
At the reception, as is customary, the couple was lifted high in their chairs. It ALWAYS makes me nervous but it looks like so much fun.
This face shows how nervous I would be... ; )
A little lovin' during the first dance.
Poor guy got blindfolded but he managed just fine.
Amy (Julia's sister) is one of my favorite MoH's of ALL time. She's fun, cute and a little saucy too! It cracked me up when she grabbed her sister's veil and struck a very fierce pose!
Good night everybody!

Heather and her hubby, Dana Smith of the BridalSmiths needed a new logo and I was very happy to oblige. Here's a copy of her business card. Dana's is a bit more masculine. They are a couple of wedding consultants here in town. If you're debating on whether or not to hire one, it's something I'd seriously consider. I know how helpful they are to me so I can only imagine they are invaluable to their brides.
If you aren't sure what they do or why you should have one---call Heather. I'm sure she'd be happy to talk to you about it! Have a great day!
LOVE this!
Then we were off to OSU stadium. We were fortunate that our guide was generous with the rules.
How do you do OH-IO with only two people? Photoshop of course!
With this couple, there was a lot of laughing and teasing going on. I love that we caught a few of those moments. (If you ever see Tim, tease him about the gun show he offered in his photos. Those biceps are serious.)
Gorgeous! Fierce! Super-model-esque! Could be a shampoo ad. ; )
So... When y'all ask me why I like morning and evening appointments, it has absolutely nothing to do with my odd sleeping hours. It's because of the light. Look how yummy, buttery soft, and warm this light is. You don't get this light at noon people. Tasty!
A little splendor amongst the purple.
I really do not know which I like better, the color or the sepia.... I'm pretty sure I'm leaning sepia. Seems more dramatic and timeless. Your thoughts?
As for the reception, it was very low key and relaxed---just like Kate and Ben. They had a bluegrass band. I was surprised and disturbed at how many John Denver songs I know. ; ) There was dinner, a cake and dad's embarrassing toast. Can you guess when this photo was taken?
Loved your wedding guys! I love that you made it personal. I love that you didn't bow to tradition and did things your way. It was awesome! Thanks for having me!
