Jennifer and George
My adventure with Jennifer started several years ago. When we first talked, she told me that once she saw her friend's wedding pictures, she knew when the time came, she'd hire me. It's humbling and flattering and I couldn't be happier that her big day came. And can I mention, that she chose a pretty fantastic groom! George is wonderful! And these two had a beautiful wedding day!
St. Peter's church in downtown Mansfield is an architectural gem of a church. Lovely columns, sweet light and a wedding coordinator who was so easy to work with. Thanks Sally!
Jennifer was already dressed and ready to go when I got there. Doesn't her hair and hairpiece look fantastic?!
Our lovely bride...
A handsome and thoughtful groom...
Lizzie did a fab job snagging this photo of Jennifer. It was taken a few minutes before she walked down the aisle. I can only imagine what she's thinking.
Ceremony time!
Jennifer asked for a photo with her dress all poufed up around her. Of course, I was happy to oblige. Do you love it? I do!
For our portrait time, we had SO many possibilities!!! It was exciting for me. Jennifer and her dad used to spend time at the Coney Island restaurant. Jennifer wanted to stop there and I'm glad we did.
What else did the 'field have to offer? Is a carousel enough?
Or how about a some funky downtown-y scenes?
An old garage?
And old garage with a rockin' bridal party? Good stuff!
I love these next couple of photos. They just look so relaxed...
After portraits... we were off to a fun reception. Check out the detail on their cake. Amazing.
These next photos... totally explain why I LOVE dance photos!!!! It never ceases to amaze me that even though there are more than a hundred people watching you, you still have the feeling of being alone on that dance floor. It shows in the facial expressions every time. And thank goodness. It makes for good photos. :)
We ended the night with a fab photo. Not sure why I like night photos so much but let's be honest.... this will look pretty rockin' on the last page of a wedding album. :)
Best wishes you two!!!
