So last Saturday was another gorgeous day at Darby House. And of course, the rain gods had to scare me half to death with a morning storm. I don't know what the deal is this year but whoa! Enough with the weekend rain already!
One thing I know for sure... Sara REALLY loved her flowers. Her step dad told me that she studies wetlands so all the flowers used for the wedding are flowers native to Ohio and could be found in her area of expertise... Pretty cool, eh? Who knew Ohio had such beautiful flowers? Details and Florabunda designs did a fantastic job!
That bracelet was fabulous and the dress is stunning! If I didn't eat for a decade, I don't think I could rock this dress like Sara did. :)
I really enjoyed her sense of humor. Throughout the day I caught her making cute little faces like this one.
I really would love to hear what you think of this photo. I adore the way she's looking at him and his expression is hard for me to define but I definitely love it.
This one... is probably my favorite. Honest laughter ALWAYS makes a great image.
More adorable expressions...
Have you ever noticed that when people spend a lot of time together, they take on characteristics of the other? Well.... Matching facial expressions for this bride and groom. :)
That Father Steve sure likes to laugh.
No pontoon ride for me this week but dry land was worth it for this photo.
There were 3 toasts, all with a different style, flair and reason to love them. As you can tell by their reactions, they enjoyed them. I believe the comment just prior to this was about how made for each other they are and a humorous reference as to why. :) Too cute!
I'll have to try to find out who made the cake because it was gorgeous and quite tasty (from what I heard).
A little dancing and the evening came to a close. Best wishes to Sara and Matt who are starting their wedded life in the sunny state of California. I'm a little jealous. :) Matt's new job is taking them to the coast and I'm sure if they get homesick there are plenty of Ohio peeps willing to visit them.
Thanks so much for choosing me!
