A busy night

So...  last night was a busy night.  As Central Ohio prepped for Snowmageddon, the Keidel house was pretty busy.  I decided I wanted to do a special snow portrait this morning and thankfully, my mom and Devin were willing to assist.   My mom cut...

When our little project was done, the kids headed to Aidan's bedroom for some time in tent world....

It looks pretty darn cozy under there.  I wish I had done things like that as a kid.  They slept in tent world and since they slept late, I am now a big fan of this little adventure.
Andy and I watched basketball.  I rooted for Duke so my (first ever) bracket wouldn't be a total stinker.  I guess it was close to midnight when I thought to check the weather outside.  I was surprised to see everything blanketed in white.  Not that I didn't believe the weatherman but I didn't really want to believe him.  I wanted to believe that we were done with snow and that spring is just a day or two away.  Well...
It's not.  I will say this.  I love that snow arrives in a whisper.  You rarely hear it.  Like magic, snow just starts and it is beautiful....  even near midnight.

Tune in tomorrow and I'll show you what that little craft of ours looks like.
