It's the holiday season. It's busy. It's chaotic. There's SO much to do but... I've learned that if I don't take a little time to have fun, I get stressed and cranky and usually get sick. So.... The 2nd annual Cookiefest was scheduled at my house.
Aunties Kate and Brooke came over. Mr. Tuggers came along to get a little kid lovin'!
The very first thing we made were these Salted Caramel Cups. YUM!!! And... don't tell anyone but they are super easy. I got the recipe from my good friend, the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Ready?
Get Pillsbury pre-made Peanut butter cookie dough.
Place it in the mini-muffin tin. Mold it into a little cup.
Bake cookies at 350 for about 10 minutes.
Melt 24 caramels in the microwave with a tsp. of water.
Spoon melted caramel into the cup.
Garnish with course sea salt.
DONE!!
Thank you, Laura for my Pampered Chef muffin tin.
We also made Buckeyes... There's Brooke, mixing up the peanut butter.
Miss Devin took the tools of the trade and made a reindeer. That girl is so clever!!! I can't remember if it was Kate or Brooke but one of them said "Where'd you learn to do that? There's no one creative in this house." Dev's reply? "UH_HUH!!! My Nana is!!!" I guess I need to work harder to impress my girl with my creativity.
The reindeer cookies were fun and relatively easy as well. Sadly, though... All these poor reindeer have lost their antlers. Aidan ate them!
It was a night with a whole lot of laughter and I'm SO SO grateful to have such amazing friends!!
