Here's the thing. Every year at this time, I'm working at least 10 hour days and generally 7 days a week. I'll probably keep that up until Christmas with a few days off here and there. So... Needless to say I can get tired and a little run down. Janice thinks I schedule her kids' portraits at the optimal fall leaf time but... just between us... I schedule them when I know I'll be ready for some much needed fun!

These 4 kids are truly a blessing in my life. I've been photographing them for several years and I can't even tell you how much fun we have together. We start with a few normal, pretty for the grandma type photos. They do well at that. I always try to be creative but holiday cards are a big deal with this group so we try to come up with different ideas each year. Then, after the niceties are done. I let those kids loose! They can be as silly and as goofy as they want. And these are always some of my and their mom's favorite photos because this is their personalities---WAY FUN!!!

And finally, one funky one for me.

Walsh family... If you only knew how much I value our relationship.... I seriously love your kids Janice!!! And you!!! You make me laugh and I think I could talk with you for hours so let's do that soon. Talk for hours over adult beverages. See you soon!
