Beth and Paul

I'm telling you. I adore this couple! Beth is another beauty who flattered me by making certain I would be her photographer. We met a couple years back when I did some pictures for her real estate job. We bonded immediately and we talked about the love of her life, Paul. She told me about how she hoped he'd be proposing one day.

When he finally did propose, I got the greatest phone call! Beth was so excited I thought she might jump thru the phone. I was so happy for her and I still am! Her wedding day was great. St. Joseph's cathedral, downtown and the Athletic Club---two great venues. I noticed that St. Joseph's has done a little painting and sprucing up in the bride's room. The soft green walls looked like a nice place to hang Beth's uber gorgeous dress. I love the lace and of course, shoes!

We decided to do a few images downstairs. I love the brick arches down there. I think this image is something a little different for me. I have been trying some new lighting techniques. (Thank you Erin for helping me with the light!) What do you think? A nice image of Father.A little blessing during the mass.After church, we headed to OSU campus, the oval. We were trying to do a lovely "smooch" under the veil but.....well..... Paul's groomsmen kept saying hilarious things so it was pretty hard to get serious photos. Frankly, I like the laughing out loud ones better than the serious ones that we finally ended up getting. ; )

More fun at OSU.My girl Katie from The Cake Studio made another stunning and tasty cake.Again. More fun with lighting.... The Best Man's toast was toooooo funny. He had visual aids!!!! He roasted poor Paul but it looks like Paul was a good sport. ; ) First dance lovin'! Hmmm. How big is Paul's grin?
Finally, I know how you all love to see the rings. Classic. Beth and Paul.... Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Your note totally made me cry. I'm sad you're leaving Columbus but Toledo isn't too far away and it is a town full of my relatives so it isn't all bad. ; ) Your day was so incredible and I'm so grateful it was me that got to be there. Best wishes to you both!
