For a few years now, I've done photos at Spooktacular for the City of Dublin. This year's event was last Thursday night. I can't get over how cute all the kids look and much fun they are having. My mom and her friend Patty came out to help me stay organized. I really appreciate all my mom does to help me. She is a person with a huge heart who always gives to other people (especially me.) I hope she knows how much I appreciate her! Thanks Mom for saving my day again!
At any rate, I saw scary costumes, cute costumes, popular costumes and even a family that rocked it out as Captain Hook, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. The highlight of my night was seeing the Kemper family again. They are clients of mine that I haven't seen in a while and it was such a pleasant surprise to run into them. Really awesome people and I love their kids.
At any rate, below are a couple of my favorite costumes. I'd post them all if I could! Yes. That's Aidan and Devin in there. Not the greatest costumes but I love my kiddos! Check out Aidan's fabulously filthy tennis shoes. Hmmm. Time for a new pair, I think. And Dev's shoes... Andy bought Dev some little sparkly shoes and she had that princess feeling going. ; )

Happy haunting! Show me your best pumpkin carvings. I'm always impressed by people's creativity there!
Oh. One more thing. Below each posting, you'll find a spot to leave a comment. Go for it! Make comments. Who knows? You might make a new bridal buddy or another friend right here on the blog.

I went the spooktacular. Did you notice the sea of orange balloons?! Those were from DDC (Dublin Dance Centre) where I teach! Wooo! It was crazy! I took my friend and her kid and they had a blast. We didn't stay too long because I had to teach at 6:30. Loved the pics though. Your kids are sweet :o)
I have to say that I love LOVE your photos! I found your blog after seeing the pics you took at a wedding of someone we know. Anyway, I'm just starting out in photography myself and your work is an inspiration to me!
Arminda,
It's nice to meet you--sort of. Good luck with photography. It has certainly filled my life with a lot of wonderful people. I hope it blesses you as well.
