Columbus Bride

It's time for a new ad again. I have to say.... I hate choosing photos for ads, brochures, etc... I really struggle. I have too many good looking, fun clients, I guess. Picking just a few is a real challenge. For the 2008 sample dvd slide show, I ended up putting in nearly 250 photos!!! Once I figure out how to post it online, I'll share it with you.

Anyway, back to the ad. I wanted to choose something that was light and fun. In the end, I let Andy choose. (Yeah. I know. I wimped out.) Anyway, Andy chose this photo from Carrie and Nasser's wedding and I think it's a great choice. It was a very memorable moment. The wedding ring did not want to go on Nasser's finger.

It occurred to me, Carrie and Nasser were married and I never blogged about them (talk about better late than never) so I'll share some photos now. I love the look on this woman's face as she reads during the ceremony. She looks like she's having fun. Oh. Cute dress too!

SHOES!!!! You know I love shoes and what's more appropriate for a wedding at the zoo than leopard print high heels?

Andy getting the best angle--again! He says he's just a camera mule but he takes some pretty nice photos himself. Check out her bouquet! My friends at DeSantis Florists did all the flowers at her wedding. I love their work. Debbie, Michelle, Matt and the gang really know what they're doing. If they are the florists, I know I'll have a beautiful bridal bouquet and it won't be looking scraggly by the end of the night. They have done tons of flowers for me and my family and I'm never disappointed. They even did my wedding flowers! Since I got married in the spring, we did tulips. No lie. Those tulips looked great for a month.

Carrie's dad got emotional. It was so sweet and I have trouble looking at this photo. It makes me wanna cry every time.

Funny story. I had them posed looking out onto the water for a beautiful artsy photo. The dude next to me didn't like that. He piped up. "I want a photo of their faces. None of that artsy crap." That may not have been the exact quote but it is close. At any rate, we all started laughing loudly and I have to thank the guy for not letting me be artsy. ; )

ARGH!!!!! I have a true phobia of snakes so Carrie will go down in dk history as the absolute bravest bride!!!See what I mean... It's the end of the night and that bouquet is still looking fresh. Thanks again Carrie and Nasser for choosing me. I really enjoyed your day. Other than the snake, it was a perfect day. ; )
