What a weekend!

Andy and I went up to Youngstown for Katie and Marc's BIG day. I have to admit, I was a little concerned when I got off the freeway. This was my first visit to Y-town and the first things I saw were a little bleak. BUT... I turned the corner to find an incredible church and plenty of places for portraits. Holy Trinity Ukrainian church was beautiful! I was almost disappointed to find out we were going to be outside.

The weather was fairly warm but there was a fairly strong wind. Katie liked it because it kept her cool. I liked it because it kept her veil alive and blowing in the breeze. The most humorous thing happened while we were taking photos. This car stopped in front of the church. A woman popped out to ask if she could take a picture of the happy couple. She did---next to her car (obviously a prized possesion) and the fake bullet hole stickers on the side. Too funny! Her passenger was a character. I loved his look so I snapped his picture as well. We stayed until the bitter end of the party. Our plan was to drive back as far as we could and collapse in some hotel along 71. Thanks to Katie's mom, Linda, we didn't have to. She set us up in a room so we wouldn't have to drive home tired. Thanks guys! I had a great time at your wedding and hope you're having a blast in Maui!
