Blogging 101

Blogging 101 is very simple. Sign in to your blog. Type something. You might upload a photo. Hit the publish button. Somehow. I'm not getting it. I want to be a faithful blogger. I want to post photos and chit chat with people every day. But, it is a lot harder than I thought. I always end up with writer's block or I'm lost in Photoshop world and don't even think about it. Who knew I could be tongue tied? I talk more than anyone I know. So... I'm just going to keep trying. It may not always be about pictures. It may be a crazy website I found or a great quote I read or a vacation destination. Who knows? But I'll work harder to blog more often.

Right now I am really wrapped up in redesigning my website. I am so geeked about it. I've been staying up until the wee hours playing with different colors and fonts and debating about which image goes where. One image that is playing prominantly is of Melissa. She and Jason got married on February 17th. I love how that one ringlet of hair hits her face.

I have to say. I embarassed myself with her. I was at a bridal show meeting a lot of girls and she approached my booth. Having already contracted her, I should have recognized her immediately but it just didn't sink in because I had bridal show brain. So embarassing! She and Jason are absolutely unforgettable now. We actually went out for dinner and drinks before their wedding. We did a little wedding talk but mostly just had fun. That's really what I'm looking for in a client---someone I can end up calling my friend.
